Steam Bunnies Octopus

Heres my Final piece my pride and joy, my Octopus Dress. I designe it and the corest to give the illustion of an Octopus. The cups are to look like eyes, I'm really happy with the lines of the corset. The self is connected to the lining theres a steel hoop at the bottom. In bettween the self and the lining theres a a layer of cotton batting then under that theres 50 metters of crinoline. I left a opening in the lining so I can fluff but the crinoline because when I put it in its garment bag it gets squished down. I want to fix it up a bit in the lining, theres a little excess and I dont want the model to trip over it going down the run way.

The cloak was added to the my collection in my last quarter of school. I'm really happy with the over all look of it, the green silk really stands out well against the dark grey wool.
